Thanks to those who made and to those who wanted to but couldn't. We had a great time. The crowd loved us, the band was killin' it, we sold a few CDs and made a lot of new friends.

Here's a write-up by our friend Richard Lazere from the Jazzscene:

And in case you missed it, Lynn Darroch wrote a review in last Fridays A&E:

What a great July!!! - August 3, 2006

Well July is past and we had a great time playing at the Cathedral Park Jazz Festival. The crowd was into the music, we sold a bunch of CDs and most important: we had a blast. Thanks to everyone who came out and also to those who listened on the radio.

Speaking of radio, last Saturday we played live at MHCC on KMHD 89.1. Willy and I were joined by drummer Drew Shoals and percussionist Chuk Barber. The rhythm section threw down! When I get the recording, I'll podcast it, so check back. Check out the photo gallery of that session.

Right now the calendar looks a little
thin but it's gonna fill up soon cuz we got lots of irons in lots of fires.

See ya,

B

News for July - July 3, 2006

Hey folks! This month kicks things off for us as we are playing at the Cathedral Park Jazz Festival to promote our new CD Wonderbread.

We also just became available for download on apple's iTunes.

The Jazz Society of Oregon has made me musician of the month for July. I'm putting it on our links page so you can check it out.

Peace,

Brian
